Much, much more sturdy than the orange one that came with the feeder!! So strong the Raccoons are doing pull ups!! and it does not break (dealing with the raccoons). Recommend to anyone as an "upgrade".

The perch is sturdier and bigger than the perch that came with my Birdsnap feeder. The original broke off - I'm guessing from the weight of the squirrels jumping from a tree several feet away to get some birdseed.

This should be standard for the bird snap. The one it comes with is too flimsy. Squirrels broke mine almost immediately and this is my second replacement
